    Hi, I’m Gretchen Wegner!

    Over my 20+ years as a teacher, academic coach, and educator trainer, I’ve been asked one question more than any other: “How do you motivate unmotivated students?!”

    While there’s no magic wand, after coaching 300+ neurodiverse learners, observing classrooms worldwide, and training over 1000 educators, one truth stands out:

    The right strategy, taught at the right time in the right way, can motivate students — but taught poorly, it can kill their drive.

    I’ve become obsessed with the question: how can educators refine our skills to choose the right strategy at the right time and teach it in the right way — that unlocks students’ authentic engagement, joy, confidence, and mastery?

    The Anti-Boring Toolkit is my answer. And the Anti-Boring Learning Lab is where educators gather to learn the tools, geek out about the science, swap strategies, and supercharge our teaching, tutoring, and coaching.
