Over the past 15+ years of training educators, we’ve noticed two big patterns: teachers tend to lecture too much, and academic life coaches often don’t teach enough. So what’s the solution? The Anti-Boring Toolkit is divided into nine micro-credentials, each taking about 4–5 hours to complete.

To get certified, you’ll work through all the micro-credentials—reflecting on the content and practicing how to teach it (whether that’s with a real-life student, your partner, or even your goldfish 🐟).

Here’s the rest of the process:

• Attend 3 community calls (or watch the recordings—we’ve got you covered).

• Join 3 Mini-Lecture Practice sessions (or submit videos of yourself coaching).

• Wrap it up with a final reflection paper.

Once you’ve completed these steps, you’ll submit your application for review, and voilà—certification unlocked! 🎉

We’ve designed this process to work for educators all over the world. While we recommend attending live calls when you can, certification can be completed entirely asynchronously, making it flexible and accessible for everyone.

The main Anti-Boring Toolkit is designed to teach the skills and strategies you need to be an excellent academic coach, whether you are school based or in private practice.
